How to Replace Lenovo Ideacentre A600 Cooling Fan
1. Before removing any media (diskettes, CDs, or memory cards) from the drives, shut down your operating system, turn off all attached devices, and the computer. Unplug all power cords from electrical outlets. Disconnect all cables attached to the Lenovo Ideacentre A600. This includes power cords, input/output (I/O) cables, and any other cables that are connected to the computer. 2. Remove the five rubber caps covering the screws on the system cover. 3.Remove the five screws that secure the system cover to the chassis. 4.Release the left and right tabs from the connector housing, then pull each side of the cover out slightly , release the top tabs from the connector housing, then lift the cover away from the Lenovo Ideacentre A600. 5.Press the release latches on the system bay and open the system bay . 6. Now, you can see two fans. The left one is CPU fan and the right one is MXM fan. Remove the two screws that secure the CPU fan to the system bay. Disconnect the CPU fan cable from the system board and remove the CPU fan from the system bay . Remove the two screws that secure the MXM fan to the system bay. Disconnect the MXM fan cable from the system board and pull the MXM fan away from the system bay. Reverse the procedure to install you new Lenovo Ideacentre A600 cooling fan. |
