First of all, shut down your Lenovo G470 G475. Disconnect the AC adapter and remove the battery.

For removal the hinges, you need to disassemble the LCD module from the computer base. If you don't know thow to do, you can refer to the post How to Disassemble Lenovo G470 G475.

1. Remove two screws. Pry up the screen bezel and reomvoe it.

2. Detach the integrated camera connector, remove the camera board




3. Remove four screws.




4. Lift up the LCD panel from the top edge, then remove it.







5. Remove three screws secruing the hinges, release the right hinges. The other side is the same.

Reverse the procedure to install your new Lenovo G470 G475 hinges.
