In this guide, the actual laptop is Toshiba Satellite L305. Its keyboard is the same with Toshiba Satellite L300 L300D L305D keyboard. More compatible information, please refer to the keyboard description under this instruction.

First of all, turn off your Toshiba Satellite L300 / L305, disconnect the power adapter and remove the battery.

1. Locate and remove the three screws securing the keyboard cover.

2. Turn the computer over and open the LCD module to expose the keyboard cover.  Remove the Keyboard Cover as shown.

3. Remove the two screws securing the Toshiba Satellite L300 / L305 keyboard as shown.

4. Unlock the keyboard cable connector and remove it from the mainboard. Remove the Toshiba Satellite L300 / L305 keyboard from the chassis.

5. Reverse the procedure to install you new Toshiba Satellite L300 / L305.
