In this case, the actual laptop is MSI GE62.

1. Unplug the powe adapter. Turn over the laptop. Remove all screws you can see.

2. There is a screw under the warranty sticker. Unscrew the indicated Philips screw. Screw cannot be completely removed from cover. Please notice, you will lose the warranty after you remove this screws.





3. Pull off the ODD. Thera are screws under the ODD.

4. Unscrew screws.









5. You are now able to remove the bottom case cover.

6. Remove the battery firstly. Then unplug the fan cables and remove all screws securing the cooling module.  Usually you need to replace the fan only, you can disassemble the fan from the heatsink.

Reverse the procedure to install the new MSI GE62 GE72 PE60 PE70 GL62 GL72  fan. Please don't forget apply the new thermal grease before you fix the fan module.
